Texas EDM starts with a simple goal: make it easier to find your next show while giving the people behind the scene the recognition they deserve.

Whether you live in Texas, are visiting for a weekend, or are planning a trip around a festival, we want to be a useful starting point for electronic music events, venues and festivals. A place to explore what’s happening, discover somewhere new and follow the music into another city.

Four cities. Their own identities.

Our current focus is Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Each has its own communities, spaces and ways of bringing people together. Those differences deserve to be visible.

A statewide resource should help people explore those scenes without flattening them into one version of Texas nightlife. We want someone to discover a new city while still understanding that the people building it have their own history, relationships and vision. Connecting the scene means respecting what makes each part of it distinct.

The DJs, promoters and fans come first.

The DJs give a night its direction. From local talent to touring artists, their selections, productions and performances give people a reason to show up and a memory to take home.

Promoters do the work that brings those nights together: booking talent, building lineups, finding spaces and taking a chance on an idea. Venues give those ideas a home, and the crews behind the scenes help bring them to life.

And the fans matter just as much. The people buying a ticket, bringing a friend, supporting an opening set and coming back for the next show are part of what keeps a scene going. Texas EDM is for them, too.

Our goal is to make all of those contributions easier to recognize. That means giving credit, directing people toward the original organizers and helping fans discover the people behind an event—not just its headline.

A clearer way to find your next night.

Start with the Texas EDM venue map to explore venues, or browse upcoming Texas EDM events. You can follow a city’s listings, check what’s coming up this weekend or explore festivals as you plan further ahead.

Trust is part of that experience. Events should have source confirmation before appearing on the site. A sold-out show can still be a confirmed event; an uncertain listing needs more checking. When details are missing or change, the venue or organizer remains the place to confirm them.

More discovery. More respect for the scene.

We want Texas EDM to help a local fan find a new favorite venue, a visitor discover a city beyond the obvious stops, and a DJ or promoter reach people who will connect with what they’re building.

The goal is a stronger connection between the music, the people putting it on and the people who love it. Across Texas, with room for every city to keep its own identity.
